Stylish brick museum with a Japanese garden.

The museum’s collection of approximately 400 works includes works by artists with ties to Yugawara, such as Reiji Hiramatsu, who is at the forefront of contemporary Japanese painting, Takeuchi Karafo, a major Japanese-style painter, Yasui Sotaro, a master of Western-style painting, Ito Shinsui, famous for his paintings of beautiful women, and Miyake Katsumi, a watercolor painter.

The museum also has a Japanese garden adjacent to the museum where visitors can enjoy the seasonal changes in nature, such as cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, and autumn leaves, and have tea while admiring this garden.
