On a hill overlooking the Sagami Bay, 5,000 satsuki or Japanese azaleas bloom during the Azalea Festival.
From late May to early June, pink and white azaleas bloom, creating a beautiful sight like a carpet of flowers.
There is the “Friendship Bell” on the observatory, which is popular among couples for “bringing happiness”.
Many families come to picnic here, and it is a sightseeing spot that can be enjoyed by families, friends, and lovers.
